From 2010 to 2012 I lived with a newer friend and her two kids, still babies at this point. This was the start of my adult life, my finding home and community and peace with myself and my world. This was at the beginning of me as a portrait artist and I photographed them all obsessively. They are my family, my godbabies, my platonic life wife. They saved my life, and they are some of the most meaningful people to me.
